Welcome to the SoCal Hikers and Peakbaggers Group.  This group is for those interested in trail hikes, off trail treks, peakbagging, snowshoeing, snow climbs, car camping and backpacking. We hike in the Anza Borrego Desert, San Jacintos, San Gorgonio, San Gabriels and the Southern Sierra. You must be over 18 to join this group. Great beer, great scenery, great people. Anza-Borrego Foundation's Hikes and Hops brings together people who love Anza-Borrego Desert State Park over great craft beer and fun hikes in the park.

Our hikes are of intermediate to advanced difficulty. For example going up canyons with and without marked trails, extensive rock scrambling and down climbing often with exposure and with significant elevation gain. We will venture far into remote areas and canyons with geological interest as well as canyons of historical value .
